Traidcraft stall: back by popular demand!

Fair trade angel decorations

Traidcraft angel decorations

After the success of the Traidcraft Stall on 27 November, it will be back on Sunday 11 December after the 10 am service, selling all kinds of Christmas gifts and a selection of its regular foodstuffs and household goods.

While it is good to buy fair-trade in supermarkets, there is an added bonus if you buy goods through Traidcraft: supermarkets and the like have massive “bulk-buy” arrangements so can work only with established producers. Traidcraft helps new producers to get established so they can then supply their goods to mainstream retailers. Also Traidcraft encourages new products to come on line – you will now find fair-trade rubber gloves in the catalogue!

Traidcraft is one of the founders of  Fair-trade, which helps producers in developing countries to support themselves by ensuring proper prices, local sustainability and decent working conditions.
